Encore's founder, Rebecca Carr, is
an accomplished musician with
years of education and teaching
experience in both voice and
piano. She has multiple degrees
in Music Education, piano, voice, a
California teaching credential, and
a passion for making music education accessible to everyone. Her years of building new music programs, teaching in special education, directing musicals, and training students for music exams, musical performances and competitions have taught her how to work through any challenges- be they mental, physical, inspirational or other. She has used that experience to build a team of educators who are effective and inspiring.
"The ability to play an instrument or sing beautifully offers a lifetime of benefits. Music lessons also foster a student’s personal, social, and academic development. If you’ve been told you are tone deaf or uncoordinated, I’m here to tell you that everyone can improve their musical skills. As a musician, teacher, and director I've witnessed thousands of students transform their lives in ways they never imagined possible!"

Our students love to perform!

Every parent wants to know how their child is progressing. That’s why, twice a year, we present our Red Carpet recitals on a real stage with a grand piano. Bring your family and friends to share in the fun!
We start each youth show with a group song so everyone has the chance to relax and have fun together before their own performances. There are no ticket sales, the whole family is welcome to join us!
